We are looking for elite B-Pressure Welders to join our South Edmonton team, specializing in the fabrication and repair of heavy-duty mining equipment, wear piping, and crawler systems.

This is rugged, high-impact work for welders who excel with massive components and complex alloys

Advantages

Exceptional Pay: $45.00/hr base + $3.00/hr Night Shift Premium.

The "Night Owl" Schedule: Monday–Thursday (3:00 PM – 1:30 AM). 3-day weekends every week.

Day Shift Option: Monday–Thursday (5:00 AM – 3:30 PM) also available.

Financial Speed: Weekly pay to start via Randstad.

Responsibilities

Mining & Wear Solutions: Execute high-strength welds on wear-resistant piping, mill liners, and ground engaging tools (GET).

Massive Fabrication: Work on large-scale industrial castings and structural components weighing up to 25 tonnes.

Complex Repairs: Perform critical welding repairs and surface overlays on worn heavy machinery parts to restore performance.

Precision Gouging & Prep: Utilize air carbon arc gouging and beveling to prepare heavy-walled sections for multi-pass welding.

Technical Compliance: Ensure all welds meet strict internal quality standards and customer specifications for the mining and energy sectors.

Qualifications

The Ticket: Current Alberta B-Pressure Certification is required.

Heavy Shop Exp: 3–5+ years of experience working with heavy plate, large-bore pipe, or industrial castings.

Process Proficiency: Expert in FCAW (Flux-core) and MCAW (Metal-core); experience with sub-arc is an asset.

Safety Mindset: Proven track record of working safely around overhead cranes and rotating machinery.

Reliability: Must have a professional attitude and a commitment to the 4-day night shift rotation.
