Immiland Canada is recruiting for a leading industrial maintenance company with a decade-long commitment to serving diverse industries, which is currently experiencing rapid growth.

As part of their expansion, we are excited to announce multiple opportunities for Welder Supervisor to join their dynamic team.

Are you a skilled Welder Supervisor with a passion for metal products fabrication, manufacturing, erecting and machine processes? Do you have experience supervising other metal workers? Then we are looking for you!

Responsibilities
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers who shape, form, and join metal parts or products to specified dimensions, machine metal into parts, products, tools and dies or molds with precise measurements and erect light and heavy metal products and structures.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departmentsEnsure that the installation and repair work is done according to good trade practices.
• Set up machines and equipment and write programs for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine toolsRequisition materials and supplies and ensure follow-up.
• Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity.
• Train or arrange for training of workers when needed.
• Ensure standards for safe working conditions are observed.
• Prepare production and other reports.
• Support and advice in the metal construction/manufacturing: shelter, fence, ramps, balustradesEnsure, with other department employees, that the workshop remains in order and that the equipment present is in good condition.
• Supervise and assist other team members with the identification and selection of parts required for the repair of equipment and/or the execution of special projects (new equipment, modification, etc.)
• Supervise and assist when needed with repairs and/or modifications to equipment.
• Participate in special projectsPerform any other task required by Operations.

Requirements
• It is mandatory that you count with previous supervisor experience that is that is verifiable
• You must have a high school diploma as a minimum education. However, extra post-secondary education in the area is a plus.
• You must be able to communicate in English or French.

$45,000 - $51,000 a year
To be assessed and decided based on candidate's experience, background and other contributions.
