Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Millwright/Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and welding skills, with experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting. Duties
β€’ Install, align, and assemble machinery and equipment using schematics and technical drawings
β€’ Perform welding tasks including MIG, TIG, and arc welding to repair or fabricate metal components
β€’ Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on industrial systems such as boilers, HVAC units, and electrical panels
β€’ Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues utilizing analysis skills and technical knowledge
β€’ Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control manufacturing processes
β€’ Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order management and documentation
β€’ Maintain low voltage electrical systems and perform electrical repairs as needed
β€’ Read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose problems accurately
β€’ Ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in safety audits and training sessions
β€’ Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and reduce downtime

Skills
β€’ Extensive experience with welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc) in an industrial setting
β€’ Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and systems
β€’ Electrical experience including low voltage systems and industrial electrician skills
β€’ Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation systems
β€’ Experience with CMMS software for maintenance tracking
β€’ Knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, and other plant utilities is a plus
β€’ Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals accurately
