Job Description

Responsibilities of the Assembler / Fabricator include, but are not limited to:
• Receive, disassemble, inspect, repair, paint, package/prepare for shipment centrifugal pumps as well as other related rotating equipment
• Weld Bases , structural MIG welding and alignment of motor and pump packages
• Package and Prepare shipment to ship out
• Assist the Supervisor in the execution of all work
• Ability to Palletize, pull parts, keep track of inventory counts and organize work orders
• Ability to use Microsoft Office effectively
• Safely use hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools
• Experience with pneumatic and hydrostatic testing of parts and equipment
• Ability to read and understand mechanical seal drawings, mechanical seal removal, installation, and pneumatic pressure testing preferred
• Ability to work with multiple and competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Ability to achieve results with minimal supervision
• Background check, physical, and drug test required

Additional Information:

Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions: Must be able to work in a shop environment without AC and heat, with possible exposure to dirt, heat, and noise.
