Apprentice Welder

Our client is seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Welder to join their dynamic fabrication team in the vibrant city of Montreal, Quebec, CA . You will learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure precise fabrication and assembly. Responsibilities will include assisting senior welders with preparing materials, setting up welding equipment, performing basic welding tasks under supervision, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will also be involved in inspecting welds for quality and adherence to standards, as well as performing routine maintenance on welding tools and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety protocols. A foundational understanding of metal properties and welding processes is beneficial, but not strictly required, as extensive training will be provided. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work in various positions, and comfort working with hand and power tools. A willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute positively to a team atmosphere is paramount.
