Job Title: Server Assistant
Location: New Museum (Bowery, Manhattan)
Reports To: Restaurant General Manager

Who You Are

You’re organized, proactive, and proud to support a great service team. You move quickly without cutting corners and enjoy mastering systems.
• 1+ year as SA/busser/runner or café experience preferred
• Barista/espresso experience strongly preferred (or eagerness to learn)
• Strong stamina; comfortable lifting trays, moving quickly, and staying focused
• Clear communicator; anticipates needs
• Full availability, including nights/weekends

Responsibilities
• Reset and maintain tables, water service, bread service, and dining room readiness
• Support servers with running food, clearing/marking courses, and guest touchpoints
• Assist barista station: espresso drinks, drip coffee, tea service, station mise en place
• Stock and maintain FOH stations (glassware, linens, silver, ice, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness standards and support opening/closing side work
• Communicate guest needs and timing issues to managers and servers
