Packer - Chicago

Advertised Pay: 1st Shift $17/hour

2nd Shift $18/hour

Shift Availability:

1st: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

2nd: 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM

General Information:

Creative Packaging is a rapidly growing, fast-paced manufacturing company who is looking for full-time Packers at our Chicago, Illinois location. This position will report directly to the Shift Lead.
Job Description:

-Fast pace packing of gel packs

-Inspecting quality of gel packs (ensuring no leaks, and packing them flat)

-Palletizing cases of gel packs (lifting 40lbs frequently throughout shift)

-Changing film roll (lifting up to 100lbs with a partner multiple times throughout shift)

-Wearing required PPE on production floor

-Cleaning work station at end of shift

-Stocking work station at end of shift

-Ensuring work station is safe to work in throughout shift (no gel on the floor)

-Following instructions from shift Leader(s)

-Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
