Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated part-time cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong attention to detail and experience in cleaning and custodial services. The position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness and upkeep of commercial spaces.

Position: Commercial Cleaner / Part-Time

Job Type: Part-time / 8-Hour Shift, 2 days a week

Schedule: Saturday / 01:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Sunday / 01:30 am - 08:00 pm

Location: SW Calgary / Fixed

Duties
• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas
• Conduct specialized cleaning such as floor care, buffing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established protocols
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
• Assist with custodial duties related to facilities maintenance as needed
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations during all cleaning activities

Requirements
• Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, which may involve standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and operating autoscrubber equipment
