Job Description
The St. Joseph Hospital House provides a home for the nuns who, in the past, primarily worked at the Hôtel-Dieu. We are currently seeking a Heavy Cleaning Attendant to fill a part-time position, 16 hours per week, for weekends only (Saturday and Sunday) from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The schedule may vary depending on vacation coverage. Maintain and clean the premises •Clean entryways and common areas •Sweep and clean the floors of the corridors, common areas and workstations of the building•Wash windows in common areas•Taking out the trash•Maintenance and cleaning of the lobby and corridors•All other related tasks Good sense of organization •Good physical ability •Punctuality and reliability •Pride in ones work •Concern for cleanliness and hygiene standards Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset) •Knowledge of senior living residences is a major asset.•Minimum experience in a similar position, at least 1 to 2 years
