Our client is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join their team as Junior Welder Apprentices in Polokwane, Limpopo, ZA . Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior welders in preparing materials and work areas for welding projects. Learn and practice different welding techniques, including SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW, on various metals. Operate welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision. Perform basic welding tasks according to instructions and quality standards. Understand and follow welding procedures and specifications. Learn to read and interpret welding symbols and blueprints. Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment and the workshop. Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Participate actively in training sessions and skills development programs. Contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. A genuine passion for welding and a willingness to learn. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Basic understanding of metal properties and fabrication processes is a plus. Ability to work physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods.
