Do you want to be a Fabricator/ Welder working in Ireland?

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and welding of structural steel components in a production‑driven environment, working from technical drawings and specifications.

This role is suited to a hands‑on professional with solid welding and fabrication experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Fabricate and assemble structural steel components such as beams, frames, columns, and platforms
• Perform welding using MIG / MAG, with exposure to Stick (SMAW) and Flux‑Cored (FCAW) welding
• Read and interpret fabrication and assembly drawings
• Measure, mark, cut, fit, and align steel components prior to welding
• Work to specified tolerances and quality standards
• Use workshop equipment including grinders, cutting tools, and measuring instruments
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with Health & Safety regulations
• Inspect completed work and correct defects where necessary
• Work effectively as part of a fabrication team to meet production targets

Desired Experience & Qualification
• 3–5 years’ experience as a Fabricator Welder in an industrial or structural steel environment
• Proven experience welding mild / structural steel
• Practical experience with MIG / MAG welding (essential)
• Ability to read and understand technical and fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit for workshop‑based manual work
