Job Title: Experienced Sewer & Drain Specialist / Plumber
Location: Bronx, NY (Service throughout the NYC Metropolitan Area)
Pay Rate: $32 – $35 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sewer and Drain Specialist / Plumber to join our growing service team. This position focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining sewer and drain systems for commercial clients throughout the NYC metropolitan area.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with drain cleaning and camera inspection equipment, and the ability to respond to emergency service calls when needed.

Key Responsibilities
β€’ Diagnose and clear clogged sewer and drain lines using professional equipment
β€’ Perform drain cleaning, snaking, jetting, and sewer line troubleshooting
β€’ Perform sewer camera inspections to diagnose drainage issues and identify necessary repairs
β€’ Document findings and prepare service recommendations and repair proposals based on camera inspections
β€’ Inspect and identify issues within drainage systems and recommend proper solutions
β€’ Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, piping, and drainage systems
β€’ Respond to emergency service calls and perform timely repairs (must maintain a flexible schedule when needed)
β€’ Determine proper materials and equipment required to complete service calls
β€’ Maintain accurate service records, including time, materials, and job notes
β€’ Communicate clearly with management, dispatch, and clients regarding work performed
β€’ Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and job site
β€’ Follow all safety procedures and NYC plumbing codes

Qualifications
β€’ Minimum 5 years plumbing experience (sewer & drain experience preferred)
β€’ Experience with drain cleaning machines, augers, jetting equipment, and sewer camera inspection systems
β€’ Ability to diagnose issues through camera inspections and develop repair recommendations
β€’ Knowledge of NYC plumbing codes and regulations
β€’ Ability to troubleshoot plumbing and drainage systems efficiently
β€’ Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in the field
β€’ Good communication and customer service skills
β€’ Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
β€’ Valid driver’s license required
