About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Cleaning Caretaker to support the daily operations of our student care centre. This role plays a key part in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both students and staff, while also assisting with meal preparation and basic caregiving support.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & Maintenance
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all areas including classrooms, offices, corridors, and common spaces
• Clean and disinfect toilets, pantry, and high-touch surfaces daily
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
• Wipe windows, glass panels, and furniture regularly
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities

Pantry & Kitchen Support
• Ensure pantry area is clean, organised, and well-stocked
• Refill supplies such as water, beverages, snacks, and utensils
• Assist in simple meal preparation (e.g. portioning food)
• Serve meals and snacks to students
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen hygiene

Stock Management
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies
• Conduct stock-taking for pantry items and student snacks

Student Support
• Assist in serving lunch to students
• Support basic caregiving needs such as helping students change clothes when required
