Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Perform MIG, ARC, and gas welding on metal recycling equipment and structures
• Repair damaged bins, containers, conveyors, chutes, hoppers, and machine parts
• Fabricate metal components as required for plant operations
• Conduct cutting, grinding, and fitting activities
• Inspect welds and structures for quality and safety compliance
• Assist maintenance team during equipment breakdowns and shutdowns
• Read and interpret technical drawings and repair instructions
• Maintain welding tools, machines, and consumables
• Follow plant safety procedures and use PPE at all times
• Keep work area clean and organized

Qualifications
• High school diploma or technical trade certificate
• Vocational training in welding or fabrication preferred
• Welding certification is an advantage

Experience
• Minimum 2–5 years of welding experience
• Experience in heavy industry, recycling plants, steel fabrication, or maintenance preferred
• Experience repairing heavy equipment and industrial machinery is an advantage

Skills Required
• Knowledge of MIG, ARC, and gas welding
• Ability to use cutting torch, grinders, and fabrication tools
• Understanding of industrial maintenance practices
• Ability to work in dusty, hot, and heavy industrial environments
• Good troubleshooting and teamwork skills
