Roles & Responsibilities
• Execute precise TIG welding on stainless steel components for commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
• Fabricate kitchen equipment from blueprints and technical drawings, including cutting, bending, and assembling metal parts with meticulous accuracy.
• Maintain and operate welding equipment, including regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Inspect welds for quality and adherence to specifications, utilizing visual inspection and measurement tools to identify and rectify any defects.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to refine fabrication processes and improve product designs for enhanced functionality and manufacturability.
• Manage material inventory, ensuring efficient use of materials and minimizing waste through precise cutting and fabrication techniques.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices at all times.
• Perform grinding, polishing, and finishing operations to prepare welded surfaces for final assembly and achieve a professional appearance.
• Participate in the installation of fabricated kitchen equipment at customer sites, ensuring proper fit and function.
• Stay updated on the latest welding techniques, materials, and industry standards, continuously improving your skills and knowledge.
