Job Description
A Welder is responsible for joining, repairing, and fabricating metal parts and structures using various welding techniques and equipment. Welders work in industries such as construction, manufacturing, shipbuilding, automotive, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, cutting, and shaping materials.
• Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, arc, and gas welders.
• Join metal components according to project requirements.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Repair damaged metal structures and equipment.
• Maintain welding tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
• Measure and align workpieces using hand tools and measuring devices.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• With TESDA NC II certification.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments.
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
