Job Description
An Electrician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. They ensure electrical installations comply with safety standards and electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities
• Install and maintain electrical wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and lighting systems.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Inspect electrical systems and identify faults or hazards.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems and equipment malfunctions.
• Test electrical systems using diagnostic tools and measuring instruments.
• Install and connect electrical panels, motors, generators, and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Respond to emergency electrical repairs and service calls.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and installations.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or vocational/technical training in Electrical Technology or a related field.
• Relevant certification or electrician license, where required.
• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
