In Zone IV, it is Rs. 1,080 per day or Rs. 28,080 per month. Overtime beyond 48 hours per week is paid at twice the ordinary rate.

As per the Contract Labour (R&A) Act 1970, security guards work 8 hours per day and 48 hours per week, with 1 weekly off and overtime at double rate. They get 12 days annual leave per year and 7 days casual/sick leave. Women guards are entitled to 26 weeks paid maternity leave under Maternity Benefit Act 2017.
