Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities

· Facilitation of Plumbing trade programme including theoretical learning, preparing lessons taking into consideration the following: NQF Levels, SAQA, SETA ETQA, NAMB and QCTO prescripts and guidelines.

· Prepare formative and summative assessments and practical tasks.

· Develop assessment criteria, rubrics, and standards aligned with programme objectives and industry best practices.

· Manage student’s attendance and administration of their documents.

· Record and report on learners’ academic progress.

· Conduct workplace monitoring for all learners.

· Establish classroom environment which stimulates positive learning and actively engages learners in the learning process.

· Use a variety of strategies to meet outcomes of the roll out plan.

· Provide constructive feedback and guidance to participants based on assessment results to support their skill development and improvement.

· Ensure fairness, consistency, and objectivity in the assessment process by adhering to established guidelines and procedures.

· Collaborate with programme facilitators and coordinators to identify areas for improvement and recommend adjustments to curriculum and instructional methods as needed.

· Maintain accurate records of participant assessments, scores, and progress throughout the programmes.

· Communicate assessment outcomes and performance expectations clearly and effectively to participants, staff, and stakeholders.

· Uphold programme integrity and confidentiality by handling assessment materials and participant information with discretion and professionalism.

· Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and emerging trends relevant to business development and automotive sales to inform assessment practices and content development.

Qualifications

· Matric Certificate, or N2 (minimum), or NCV L4 (minimum) Qualification.

· Plumber Trade Certificate (Artisan).

· Registration with Plumbing Industry Registration Board (PIRB) will serve as an added advantage.

· Assessor and Moderator certification on NQF Level 4

Work experience

· 2 to 3 years of experience in facilitating

· Proven experience in facilitating and assessing leadership.

· Familiarity with relevant legislative and quality assurance requirements.
