Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Perform general maintenance and repairs on building elements—walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows, and furniture.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to uphold facility standards.
• Address basic plumbing issues: clear drains, repair leaks, replace taps, and manage minor pipework.
• Execute basic electrical tasks (non-certified): replace bulbs, fuses, and plug points.
• Track and maintain facility tools, equipment, and assets.
• Supervise and liaise with third-party contractors during site visits, installations, or repairs to ensure policy compliance.
• Stay compliant with health, safety, and internal company protocols.
• Provide prompt responses to emergency maintenance incidents.
• Assist with office layout changes, furniture reconfiguration, and minor installations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work records.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience Required

Essential• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in general building maintenance roles.
• Qualified red seal trade tested Plumber
• Strong commitment to health & safety and compliance with facility protocols.
• Computer literate with good communication skills (English & Afrikaans essential).
• Must have own mobile phone and be available for shift work (Monday to Friday)

• Familiar with OSHACT
• Driver licence
