About the Role Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician with expertise in high voltage systems to join their operations in **Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape**. This critical role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical systems within an industrial plant environment. Key Responsibilities Install, inspect, maintain, and repair high voltage electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, motors, and control panels. Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components to prevent failures. Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose faults using appropriate testing equipment and methods. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies. Safely operate and maintain high voltage equipment according to established procedures. Assist in the planning and execution of electrical system upgrades and modifications.
