A specialist in the Shipmanagement and Offshore Projects sector, are working with GRS to recruit an Assistant Electrician for their Limassol offices. The successful candidate be a recent graduate of Electrical Engineering or a candidate with up to 1 year of experience. If you have the necessary skills and experience, we look forward to receiving your CV for this Limassol based Assistant Electrician role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
β€’ Ensure a safe work environment for everyone by maintaining safe working practices according to company and legislative requirements.
β€’ Competently operate various equipment and small hand tools to maintain and repair equipment and systems.
β€’ Read and interpret design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems.
β€’ Troubleshoot system failures and equipment malfunctions.
β€’ Repair and maintain electrical equipment.
β€’ Maintain and modify systems to ensure they are safe, reliable, and efficient.
β€’ Perform preventative maintenance.
β€’ Complete maintenance forms and service records.
β€’ Troubleshoot system failures and equipment malfunctions.
β€’ Ensure operating sites are kept clean and tidy.
β€’ Continually upgrade technical knowledge and stays current on codes and technologies appropriate to the electrical disciplines.
β€’ Ensure equipment is used per training, company policies and procedures, and the law and use, where applicable, any safety equipment or PPE provided.
β€’ May be required to work in inclement and extreme weather conditions.
β€’ Monitor areas of responsibility and communicate any potential issues.
β€’ Any other reasonable duties as defined by the role and management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
β€’ Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering or equivalent.
β€’ 0 - 1 year’s minimum experience in a similar role.
β€’ Valid driving license.
β€’ A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
β€’ Excellent physical condition.
β€’ Ability to work well under pressure.
β€’ Flexible in work times. May be required to work outside of normal office hours and travel overseas as operational requirements demand.
β€’ Proficient in English & Greek.
β€’ Clean Criminal Record.
β€’ Working Hours are Monday – Friday - 08.00 to 17.00 hours with 1hr for lunch and Saturday from 08.00 – 13.00hrs with no lunch.
