Job Description
Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking up orders from local vendors in Houston area. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various driving tasks, including route driving and heavy lifting.

Duties
• Fills out Driver Check List prior to driving.
• Plan efficient routes to collect POs from vendors
• Maintain paperwork of POs collected and advising any extra POs not included for pick up.
• Check to see if package is damaged.
• Unload merchandise into van or truck.
• Take payments when needed.
• Cleans up his/her truck at the end of the day or after a delivery to make ready for the next day.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle, adding fluids and oil as needed.
• Monitor traffic conditions to avoid delays.
• Read and interpret maps and GPS directions.

Requirements
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and long hours on the road.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
