Delivery Driver Helper

What You’ll Do:

● You’ll assist a driver delivering heavy/bulky items (such as furniture, appliances, sports equipment, etc), to Amazon customers in their homes or businesses.

● You will work as part of a team to help with the heavy lifting.

● This is a physically demanding job that requires you to keep pace throughout the day, as well as lifting and moving heavy/bulky items weighing up to 300 lbs.

● Customer locations can include apartments, residential and commercial locations.

● We deliver in all weather! You must be comfortable delivering in all weather conditions, during hours of darkness, and in urban and rural areas.

● Work 8 to 10-hour shifts, 4-5 days per week

● Use a smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicating with dispatchers and other team members

Requirements:

● Must be at least 18 years old

● Must be able to bend, stand, and lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; maneuver packages weighing up to 70lbs., using material handling equipment, or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team.

● Must be able to pass a drug test.

● Must be able to work on weekend days.

● Must have good English speaking, reading, writing/communication skills..
