About the Role: The Facilities Cleaning Associate is a member of the Facilities team and will support their department leadership to achieve all facilities and safety goals. The Facilities Cleaning Associate will be responsible for performing all tasks related to the upkeep of facilities, and facilities services. The role entails performing a range of cleaning and sanitizing duties, including cleaning clinical and administrative areas, floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas and performing routine inspections. The role will also provide cleaning support to facilitate a well-kept, orderly and safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities: As a Facilities Cleaning Associate, your responsibilities will include:
Responsible for all basic cleaning in clinical and administrative spaces at all network site locations Communicate all quality and safety concerns to the department and site leadership. Comply with all FQHC applicable compliance codes and regulations. Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas. Communicate with team leadership about concerns about deficiencies or needs for repairs. Stock and maintain supply room, assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service. Perform heavy cleansing duties and special projects Follow all health and safety regulations. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Respond in a timely manner to emergency facilities situations and internal customer concerns. Prepare meeting rooms for group use by setting up or putting away resources such as tables, chairs, and equipment. Conduct building opening and closing procedures, including de-activating security alarms, unlocking doors, turning on lights, and checking the boiler.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time with evening hours.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the janitorial field, trade, technical facility, or equivalent work experience Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position including bending, squatting, stretching, and lifting 25 pounds on a regular basis. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
