According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the gross minimum wage for plumbers is 30,450 TRY per month as of 1 January 2026, with net pay at 26,005 TRY after deductions. Overtime must be paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate for hours exceeding 45 per week.

The Ministry of National Education requires a Level 4 Plumbing Vocational Qualification Certificate issued after completing 320 hours of approved training and passing the national exam. Candidates must also hold a secondary school diploma and register with the relevant provincial directorate by 31 March 2026.

İŞKUR requires a valid ID, the plumbing vocational certificate, health report from a public hospital, and criminal record certificate dated within the last 3 months. Applications must be uploaded through the e-İŞKUR portal before the 15th of each month for the following quarter's listings.

Plumbers are entitled to 14 days of paid annual leave after the first year and work a maximum of 45 hours per week as set by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. Additional 3 days of leave are granted for each 5 years of service completed by 31 December 2025.
