We are looking for a “Waiter with the qualifications below:QualificationsAbility to work well under the pressure of coordinating many requests at any given timeAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays if necessaryKnowledge of POS deviceService knowledgeSpoken and written fluency in EnglishJob DescriptionInform guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if anySuggest food and beverages to the guests and also try to up-sellTake food and beverage orders from the guests on the order taking padsMaking sure that the order is correct by repeating them to the guestsEntering the food and beverage in our Micros SystemMise-en-Place / adhering to the duties check-listsPerforming basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor/managerFilling in for absent staff as neededCommunicate to the guests and provide assistance with their queriesCoordinate with different departments (i.e. bar/kitchen etc.) to ensure smooth operation and guests satisfactionPromptly respond to the guests with any additional requestsAdhere to grooming and appearance standards consistentlyIs aware of allergy procedureIs familiar with all tasting-notes from all menu items (food and beverage)Help other areas of the restaurant when neededIs familiar with the waiter-cashing out procedureMaking sure that a proper handover has been done before leaving the shift
