As per the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the minimum wage for security guard jobs in Turkey is 25,500 TL per month as of 1 January 2026. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate for hours exceeding 45 per week.

As per the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, foreign security guards must obtain a work permit via e-Devlet before starting employment in 2026, with applications requiring a valid passport, residence permit and employer contract submitted at least 30 days in advance. The permit fee is 1,200 TL for one year.

As per the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, security guards in Turkey require a high school diploma, completion of a 120-hour certified training course and no criminal record as of 2026. At least six months of prior experience is mandatory for armed positions.

As per the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, applications for security guard jobs must be submitted via the İŞKUR portal with national ID, diploma, health report and training certificate uploaded by 31 March 2026. Interviews are scheduled within 15 days of application.
