Delivery Driver positions in Al Khor

As per the Ministry of Labour, the minimum wage for non-Qatari drivers in the private sector is QAR 1,000 per month as of 2026. Employers must provide accommodation valued at minimum QAR 500 per month or pay equivalent, and food allowance of QAR 300 per month if not provided in kind. All wages are remitted through the Wage Protection System on the 7th to 14th of each month.

Foreign drivers require a sponsoring employer to apply for a work permit via the MOL Unified Portal, valid for 6 months initially. Required documents include a passport valid for 6 months, 6 passport photos, attested driving license, and medical fitness certificate from an approved clinic. Upon approval, the permit fee is QAR 120, and the driver must enter Qatar within 3 months.

Driver jobs require a minimum of 2 years verifiable driving experience with a valid category-appropriate license from the home country. No higher education is mandated, but basic literacy in Arabic or English is expected for safety compliance. For heavy vehicle drivers, a training certificate from an accredited institute is compulsory.

Applications require a signed employment contract specifying QAR 1,000 minimum wage, passport copy, attested academic and experience certificates, police good conduct certificate, and 4x6 photos. The employer submits these via MOL portal for work permit approval within 48 hours. Additional bank guarantee of QAR 1,000 per worker is deposited by the employer.
