Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Installation: Setting up electrical systems, lighting, and wiring based on technical blueprints and schematics.
• Troubleshooting: Using testing devices (e.g., multimeters, circuit testers) to identify electrical malfunctions and isolate faults.
• Maintenance & Repair: Performing preventative maintenance, repairing broken components, and replacing faulty or outdated wiring.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring all installations meet national electrical codes and local building and safety regulations
• Requirements and Qualifications
• Education & Training: Completion of an apprenticeship program or a technical/vocational college degree.
• Licensing: Valid state or regional licensure proving adherence to local electrical standards.
