Job Description
• High school diploma or Completion of a welding-related NC (National Certificate) course (NC I, NC II, or NC III) or a certificate/diploma from a technical school is often required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Proficiency in SMAW, MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), or Flux-Cored (FCAW) processes.
• Knowledge of Safety work procedure
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in tight spaces, and lift heavy items
• Proficient in using measuring tools like tape measures and calipers.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly for managing heat distortion in thin materials.
• Steady hands for precise welding, particularly for TIG.
