Red Badge Group is New Zealand’s leading independent security and customer management provider. We’re looking for professional, reliable Security Officers and Security Guards to join our teams across a range of environments in Hamilton, including retail, tertiary, and construction sites.If you’re motivated by keeping people safe, delivering great customer service, and taking pride in your professionalism, we want to hear from you.We have both permanent and fixed term part time and full time roles available, both days and night shift roles available. All rosters will include at least one weekend day/night.About The RoleYou’ll be a visible and approachable security presence, responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Duties may vary by site but can include:Providing frontline security and customer servicePatrolling sites and monitoring behaviour and activityResponding to incidents calmly, professionally, and in line with proceduresDe‑escalation and conflict management, including high‑risk situations where requiredAccess control and monitoring of restricted areasAccurate incident reporting and communication with site contactsWorking collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and emergency servicesRoles are available across days, nights, weekends, and rotating rosters, depending on site requirements.What We’re Looking ForStrong communication and customer service skillsCalm, professional approach under pressureGood judgement and situational awarenessPhysical fitness (roles may involve long periods on your feet)Reliability, integrity, and a team‑first attitudeAbility to follow procedures and maintain detailed reportsMust be available to work at least one weekend day per week minimum.Previous security experience is an advantage but not essential.
