Job Description
Responsibilities

- Operate a sleeper semi truck with a 53 dry van trailer.
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery times, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo, securing it as necessary for safe transport.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Skills and Qualifications

- 1 year of truck driving experience with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Strong route driving skills with the ability to navigate efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers.
- Strong attention to detail for conducting vehicle inspections and maintaining logs.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
- Ability to work in the truck from Monday to Friday and be home on weekends.

Licensing and Certification

- CDL A (preferred).
- Licencia Binacional Clase B (required).
- Certificado médico vigente (required).
