Our client is actively seeking reliable and customer-focused Delivery Van Drivers to join their logistics team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, IN . This role involves the daily transportation and delivery of goods to various commercial and residential locations within a defined service area. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a strong understanding of safe driving practices. You will be responsible for loading and unloading packages, navigating efficiently to delivery points, obtaining proof of delivery, and maintaining the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery van. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as you will be the primary point of contact for many of our clients. This position offers consistent work and the opportunity to be part of a growing delivery network.

Responsibilities:
Load, unload, and deliver packages and goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner. Operate a delivery van safely and courteously, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions. Obtain necessary signatures or confirmation for deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or exceptions encountered. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle. Report any vehicle maintenance needs or damage to the supervisor promptly. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the delivery van. Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Handle returned items or rejected deliveries according to company procedures. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner. Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in delivery driving or a related field. Familiarity with navigation tools and GPS devices. Physical ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and follow instructions precisely. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance is a plus. Must be at least 18 years of age.
