As per the Ministry of Labour & Employment, the minimum wage for highly skilled drivers in the central sphere is Rs. 1,200 per day or Rs. 31,200 per month (26 working days) effective January 1, 2026. Applicants must be at least 20 years old, pass Class 10, and hold a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) license issued after passing the driving test.
