About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Catering Assistant to join our contract catering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about food service, customer satisfaction, and leading a team in a fast-paced environment.

As Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operation of the catering service, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, customer service, and operational efficiency are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist and support catering staff during daily service.
• Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered.
• Assist with food preparation, presentation, and service.
• Monitor food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Assist with cash handling and daily reporting where required.
• Help achieve financial targets and minimise waste.
