Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking a Plumber to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.

Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants – Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud – bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

We are looking for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering an exceptional fives star guest experience, consistently upholding the worldclass service standards recognised by Forbes.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

As a Plumber, you will play a vital role in maintaining the hotel’s infrastructure to the highest standards of luxury, safety, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, heating, and air – conditioning systems, always ensuring a seamless and refined Guest and Member experience. This role also requires prompt emergency response and effective collaboration with external contractors.
• Executing the installation and maintenance of high-quality plumbing fixtures, including sanitaryware and luxury fittings, with exceptional attention to detail
• Installing, servicing, and maintaining heating systems to ensure consistent comfort and reliability throughout the property
• Fitting and maintaining domestic and operational appliances across guest and back-of-house areas
• Installing, inspecting, and maintaining air-conditioning systems to the exacting standards of an ultra-luxury environment
• Liaising with approved contractors and supporting bathroom installations, renovations, and enhancements
• Responding promptly and discreetly to emergency maintenance situations, ensuring minimal disruption to the guest experience
• Conducting daily inspections across the hotel to proactively identify, resolve, and prevent potential issues
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing all plumbing and related systems with technical expertise and foresight
• Cultivating trusted, professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Ensuring all fixtures, fittings, and systems are maintained in immaculate and safe condition, taking immediate and appropriate action when required
• Supporting special projects and bespoke assignments as directed by hotel leadership
• Ensuring monthly safety inspections are completed with rigor and that relevant team members are fully trained and compliant with company and statutory standards

Plumbers serving Hilton brands represent the hotel at all times and work collaboratively with fellow Team Members to deliver an exceptional guest journey. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following attributes, behaviours, and qualifications:
• S/NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or Domestic Plumbing

• Flexibility and resilience to adapt within a dynamic, high-standards operation

• Previous experience within a luxury or ultra – luxury hotel, private residence, or premium hospitality setting
