We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in accordance with project specifications. Duties
• Perform MAG/MIG welding and other welding techniques on various metals, including sheet metal and structural components
• Fabricate metal parts and assemblies according to technical drawings and specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety standards
• Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures
• Conduct inspections of welds and fabricated parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations

Experience
• Proven experience in MIG/MAG welding, with a strong understanding of welding principles and techniques
• Knowledge of welding standards and practices is advantageous
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery such as shears, grinders, and drills
• Experience working with sheet metal and in fabrication environments
• Mechanical knowledge combined with basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics accurately
• Prior experience in assembly processes is desirable but not essential
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
