As per the Ministry of Manpower, the minimum wage for welders in Egypt is 8,500 EGP per month as of January 2026. Welders working more than 8 hours daily receive 1.5 times the hourly rate for overtime. This rate applies to all private sector welding positions registered under the national labor database.
