Overview of the Role

The electrician is responsible for maintaining all electrical equipment on the shop floor. This includes assisting with store remodeling and catalogue launch plans in collaboration with the Interior Design Group. The role involves scheduling and executing maintenance and repair tasks to ensure operational safety for employees and customers.

What You Will Do
• Assist the interior designers during store remodeling or catalogue launch planning, providing expertise in electrical setups.
• Establish plans and lists of materials for work with the Com-In Department, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Liaise with the Com-In Manager to determine routine maintenance needs and formulate a work schedule including performance timelines and costs.
• Compile lists of necessary materials and equipment for projects and coordinate with the Workshop Coordinator for purchases.
• Set up, dismantle, and maintain store fixtures as well as assist in their repair and maintenance.
• Assist in furniture assembly for display purposes and repair damaged merchandise when necessary.

What Qualifies You for the Role
• Higher school or trade school graduate.
• Three years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Technical skills in finishing carpentry, woodwork, metalwork, painting, wall and floor coverings, and electrical installations.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic preferred.
