Restaurant Team Members - Multiple Positions

As per Employment and Social Development Canada, a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is required for the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, with a $1,000 fee per position. Low-wage stream applies if offered wage is below $30.00 per hour, limited to 2 years. Employer must advertise the job for 4 weeks on Job Bank.

Government of Canada's Job Bank states no formal education is required for food counter attendants and kitchen helpers (NOC 65201/65202), with on-the-job training provided. A high school diploma is usually required for cooks. Some municipalities require food handler certification.
