Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, including proper food handling and storage practices.
• Support menu planning by suggesting new ideas or modifications based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
• Ensure all dishes are served in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service during busy hours or catering events.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, adhering to health regulations and safety procedures.

Experience
• Prior experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety standards.
• Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus.
• Familiarity with fine dining service, catering, or banquet preparation can be beneficial.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are important for success in this role.
• Background in the food industry with culinary experience that demonstrates versatility across different cuisines is valued.
