Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Restaurant Server to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all guests. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. The Restaurant Server plays a vital role in maintaining sanitation standards, food safety, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations
• Assist in setting up tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting stations for new guests
• Address guest inquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies

Experience
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests effectively
• Ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Experience with food handling, preparation, or kitchen operations is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and provide excellent guest services
