Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth food service operations by delivering dishes promptly and maintaining excellent guest experiences. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, customer interaction, and restaurant operations within a lively and professional environment.

Duties
• Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guests in a timely and courteous manner
• Assist servers with table setups and clearing dishes to ensure efficient service flow
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including tables, trays, and workstations
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and meal preparation tasks as needed
• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order accuracy and processing transactions
• Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during delivery and handling
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and guests to meet service expectations
• Assist with cleaning duties to uphold sanitation standards throughout the restaurant

Qualifications
• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or cashiering is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Kitchen experience, including food preparation or cooking, is advantageous
• Hospitality background, including hotel or barista experience, is beneficial
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required
