Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations
• Manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper storage procedures
• Oversee food handling and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health codes
• Lead the team in delivering excellent customer service, including serving guests when necessary
• Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus and special offerings
• Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and ensure all equipment is properly maintained
Skills
• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant operations
• Supervising experience with team management capabilities
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
• Solid understanding of the food industry, hospitality, and restaurant management principles
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service
• Experience in food service roles including serving and hospitality environments
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
