Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Part-Time Floor Manager to join our team on-site in Ottawa, ON. The Floor Manager will oversee front-of-house operations during events and service periods, ensuring seamless execution and an exceptional guest experience.

This role is hands-on and requires strong leadership on the floor, the ability to think quickly, and a commitment to maintaining Aquatopia’s high service standards. Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating service flow, supporting food and beverage operations, and resolving guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.



Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise front-of-house team during events and service
• Ensure exceptional guest service and overall satisfaction
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow
• Manage staffing levels and support team performance on shift
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Assist with inventory oversight and event setup/teardown as needed
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company standards


Qualifications
• Strong customer service and guest relations skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or events
• Solid understanding of food and beverage service standards
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and late-night events
• Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain) is an asset
• Post-secondary education in hospitality or related field is an asset**
