Job Description
## Job description The Nash, located in the historic National Hotel in Inglewood, is looking for experienced line cooks to fill out their team on a full-time permanent basis. The line cook is responsible for several functions including, but not limited to, food preparation, inventory control, and expert time management. The successful candidate will have a passion for cooking fine cuisine in a creative, professional team environment, and will have a minimum of 1 year experience in this role.

• *Requirements:
• basic food safety
• culinary diploma is an asset but not required
• must be eligible to work in Canada
• standing & walking (10 + hours per day)
• lifting minimum of 25 lb consistently throughout the day
• must have basic understanding of hot & cold cooking techniques
• available nights & weekends
• experience working on the grill station (live fire preferred but not required)

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour Including Gratuity . Wages will be determined by experience. This position is expect to receive between 36 - 44 hours per week depending on business volumes.
