Job Description
β€’ *Afternoon Shift 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm - Overtime may be required**

Must be able to drive a 10-speed manual transmission

This position requires downtown Toronto delivery experience

Salary: $25.00 per hour + Shift Premium + Safety Bonus + Overtime

Job Duties
β€’ Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
β€’ Deliver the product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner
β€’ Oversee cargo handling and you are responsible for the securement of loads
β€’ Ensure that any debris caused by the loading/unloading of the truck is cleaned up by sweeping the trailer out with your broom.
β€’ Provide feedback to your dispatcher regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems immediately before leaving customer.
β€’ Operate equipment such as truck cab Qualcomm system and exchange necessary information with dispatch.
β€’ Perform pre, en-route and post trip inspections on equipment and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness
β€’ Complete daily DVIR in workflow using the qualcomm report any defects, daily if minor until you have been re-dispatched.
β€’ Report vehicle defects using Macro 57 in the QUALCOMM system and in DVIR.
β€’ Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver's hours of service, occupational health and safety, customs and immigration and weights and dimensions.
β€’ Maintain e-logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
β€’ Record and maintain required documentation - Inspection reports must be scanned same day attention Safety department, all bills of lading signed and scanned to Dispatch Manager, trip envelopes completed at the end of each trip all verbiage consistent with trip.
β€’ Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift or trip. May include, but not limited to; inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, hours of service, etc.
β€’ Accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicle reported to the Safety department and Operations
β€’ Keep up to date with monthly training and if required to come into office for additional training newly legislated in a reasonable amount of time.
