Plumbers in São Paulo state receive an additional R$180.00 monthly floor adjustment under state decree 68.452/2025.

As per the Ministério do Trabalho e Emprego, plumbers must complete a 400-hour SENAI technical course or equivalent and register with the Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia after 12 months of supervised experience. No university degree is needed but a valid NR-35 safety certification is mandatory for heights above 2 meters.
