We strive to build a rewarding, inclusive, and inspiring culture, with innovation at the forefront of mind.Description:Quick Overview Of The RoleWe are currently seeking an Operator/Welder in a casual capacity to join our friendly team with a modern facility! This role is responsible for welding and constructing pile cages (footing cages and pad footings) using tack welds. At a minimum, you will operate auto cage pile machines, MIG welders, 5-inch angle grinders, overhead crane as well as clamps and jigs. This position is based at Currumbin.What will you be doing?Build required cages in accordance with the specifications provided by customersMaintain and operate all cage-making machines, cranes, and welding equipment in a safe mannerComplete Pre-start checks on the cage-making machine, crane, and welding machinesInterpret and utilise drawingsCheck that the product has been produced to the correct measurement Follow expected work methods for the welder, cage maker and cagesEnsure the correct PPE is wornProduce required cages efficiently and as safe as possibleMaintain general housekeeping of the work area and machinery.Skills and Experiences:What are we looking for in the successful candidate?At least six months previous experience welding idealBasic metal inert gas welding experiencePrevious experience reading and interpreting basic drawingsWelding ticket highly regardedForklift license highly regardedWhat’s In It For YouFree parking onsiteOngoing training and exciting career opportunities!Opportunity to earn monthly bonus's Free lunch on Fridays!Mental health and wellbeing support, wellness discounts for mind, body, work, and life, including an Employee Assistance ProgramOur culture is driven by our values.
